We can trace our history back to 1875 when coppersmith Charles Skerman established his business supplying hand crafted pans and utensils for the confectionery and pharmaceutical industries. Today, well over 100 years later, BPT Skerman is owned by Winkworth Machinery, the UK’s largest industrial mixer manufacturer and is still supplying the food, pharmaceutical, personal care and chemical industries with a wide range of processing equipment and systems.
As Grant Jamieson, Managing Director of the Winkworth Group explains "We are delighted to take on board such an established and respected brand as BPT Skerman. We have welcomed key staff to the Winkworth Group, known to many through their customer facing roles: Julian Bradshaw (Contracts Manager), Perry Gray (Technical Sales Engineer) and Craig Dodd (Project Design Engineer).
