Winkworth Machinery, the UK’s largest industrial mixer manufacturer has acquired BPT Skerman. As Grant Jamieson, Managing Director of the Winkworth Group explains "We are delighted to take on board such an established and respected brand as BPT Skerman. All production will be based at Winkworth's 5 acre site in Reading. Our customers demand high quality at an affordable price. This acquisition will undoubtedly bring economies of scale, which we will be able to pass on, which can only be good for us all."

We have welcomed key staff to the Winkworth Group, known to many through their customer facing roles: Julian Bradshaw (Contracts Manager), Perry Gray (Technical Sales Engineer) and Craig Dodd (Project Design Engineer).
The Winkworth Group includes leading brands Winkworth Mixers, Premier Colloid Mills and Ystral complemented by Winkworth Engineering Services, Mixer Hire, Laboratory Testing Services and Used & Refurbished Equipment Services.
Both existing web sites www.mixer.co.uk and www.bptskerman.co.uk will continue to be supported but shortly will have additional links to explain the Winkworth Group business relationship. Contact details across both websites will naturally be common and reflect the integration now achieved.
